Jonathan Daniel

Jonathan Daniel was born in Zimbabwe and spent some of his childhood in Rhodesia.  His father, a cook for a white farmer had two wives and nine children in a 10ft x 10ft brick hut.  They were fiscally poor but culturally rich in family life and cultural values.

When Jonathan asked his father for a toy, his father handed him an ax and said, “With this tool, you can create any toy you can imagine.”   This sage advise opened Jonathan's spirit of creativity and the wire sculptures he creates are a testament to this lesson and a father's devotion.
